Is it time to clean up your life?

I have seen people spend a lot of money to have their houses cleaned. I have seen people go in to high amounts of debt so they can appear to have a certain life style. Or other people that spend excessive amounts of money so their kids can keep up in school or exceed their peers. Yet many people won’t spend any time or money to fix the quality of their inner lives. This is where your thoughts and emotions live. It is easier to have someone come and clean the house you’ve been avoiding cleaning than it is to work on cleaning up your inner world. It is, temporarily, easier to spend money you don’t have and avoid the credit collectors than it is to clean up your inner world. It takes a lot more commitment to clean up things you have learned or carried with you from your past that are no longer giving your life meaning. However, our inner world will eventually show up in our outer world.  For example, not dealing with our true thoughts and feeling can lead to over eating, over spending, feelings of unworthiness, jealousy, sabotaging relationships, stress, etc.  The list can go on and on.  Where are you placing the value in your life? You can have the cleanest house and the smartest kids and still be falling apart on the inside. Your kids and spouse would rather have a loving, caring, peaceful parent or spouse than a spotless house or a fancy car. Isn’t it time you made time for yourself? Isn’t your health and happiness worth more than a house or a car? This is not to say that you can’t have all of the above. It is all about balance. That means not sacrificing one thing for another or not using one thing to avoid another. Are you willing to say, “I am worth it?” If so, I would love to work with you on your inner clean up. What are you waiting for?
